Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking Van Drivers to work from our Hatfield depot. You will undertake loading, multi-drop deliveries in and around London, and customer-facing duties at delivery points. Lifts may be required and you will work 5/6 shifts over 7 with varying start times.

Shifts: AM 04:00, PM 16:00; guaranteed 8 hours pay. Pay scales: £15.45/h day, £16.60/h night; overtime after 42 hours: AM £19.31/h, PM £20.75/h.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to perform manual handling and lifting as required.
• Role involves customer-facing delivery to stores and multi-drop routes.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods at the depot.
• Conduct multi-drop deliveries in and around London.
• Be customer-facing during store deliveries.
• Complete all relevant delivery paperwork.
• Assist with lifting as required.

Our client based in Hatfield who is a leading manufacturer of convenience foods. Supplier of a wide range of chilled, frozen and ambient foods to some of the most successful retail and food service customers in the UK. They are looking to recruit Van Drivers to work out oftheirdepot in Hatfield. You will be required to work 5/6 shifts out of 7 on various weekly pattern.

Van Driver Main duties include:

• Loading ownvehicle
• Multi drop deliveries in and around London
• Customer facing as delivery to stores
• Making sure all relevant paperwork is completed
• Lifting could be involved

Van Driver Start Times

• AM shifts start 04:00am
• PM shift starts 16:00pm
• Guaranteed 8 hours pay

Van Driver Shift:

• Am shift - 5 shifts over 6 - Monday to Saturday
• PM shifts - 5 shifts over 6 - Sunday to Friday

Van Driver pay per hour:

• 06:00-22: 00 pay is £15.45 per hour
• 22:00-06:00 pay is £16.60 per hour
• Overtime after 42 hours worked per week AM £19.31 per hour
• Overtime after 42 hours worked per week PM £20.75 per hour
