Job summary

Recruit Assist Ltd. is hiring multiple Van Drivers (Furniture Fitters) to join a two- or three-person delivery team in Dagenham. You will deliver and install home furniture for luxury clients, using basic tools with full training provided.

The role requires prior delivery/installation experience, a valid driving license for the work vehicle, and a presentable, customer-facing approach. Training will cover assembly of flat-pack furniture and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience with furniture is required.
• Experience assembling flat-pack furniture is preferred.
• Customer-facing delivery experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install home furniture as part of a 2–3 person crew.
• Use basic tools to assemble furniture (training provided).
• Check orders before loading onto the van and perform pre-delivery calls to customers.
• Presentable and friendly demeanour for customer interactions.
• Return packaging and shred disposed of as required.

Recruit Assist are hiring multiple Van Drivers for Furniture Fitters for home furniture company based in Dagenham This position is working as part of a two or 3 person crew, delivering and installing home furniture for luxury clients.

Delivering and installing of home furniture room of choice. Working as part of a 2 or 3 person delivery team. As part of the delivery install technician you will be using general tools such as, hand drill, screw driver, levels, soft mallets, screws, etc, this is to install the basic flat pack furniture, full training will be provided.

PAY: 16.00 per hour with holiday pay

WORK PATTERN: Monday to Friday 615am to 5pm

START DATE: Monday next week 3 months project and potential ongoing into the new year

LOCATION: Dagenham (parking onsite)
