Job summary

TCC UK requires a Delivery Driver - Self-Employed (Owner Drivers) to work in the Basingstoke area, delivering fresh food on behalf of our client. You will represent the service with dependability, a customer-focused approach, and a readiness to be on the road.

As an owner driver, you can access hire vehicles if needed, or use your own LWB vehicle with appropriate insurance. Immediate start available and day rates from £170 to £228 per day, with potential for ongoing work.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK or EU driving licence with less than 6 points.
• Pass a background check.
• Smartphone required (Apple or Android) for delivery app.
• Previous delivery experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Good knowledge of local routes is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry goods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh food orders safely and efficiently to customers
• Ensure all deliveries arrive on time and in excellent condition
• Load and unload goods with care
• Provide a professional and friendly service at every delivery
• Follow planned routes and schedules

Days of Work: 5 days per week - Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

The Role

As a Delivery Driver, you will represent our delivery service while distributing fresh food products on behalf of our client. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, customer-focused, and enjoy being on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh food orders safely and efficiently to customers
• Ensure all deliveries arrive on time and in excellent condition
• Load and unload goods with care
• Provide a professional and friendly service at every delivery

• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle
• Complete delivery records and handle payments if required

Requirements

• Good knowledge of local routes and navigation is beneficial but not essential
• Strong time management and organisational skills

• Ability to lift and carry goods

Vehicle Options

• Hire vehicles can be provided for drivers who require one (must be aged 25 and above)
• Owner drivers preferred with own LWB vehicles. Must have correct insurance cover and meet size requirements.
