Job summary

TCC UK in Basingstoke seeks self-employed Delivery Drivers (Owner Drivers). You will deliver fresh food orders to customers, load and unload goods, and provide friendly service. The role requires reliable, on-time performance and road familiarity. Early starts (6-7 am) apply, with 5 days per week (Sat-Wed) and ASAP starting date.

Options include hire vehicles or using your own LWB vehicle with proper insurance. A background check is required, and a UK/EU licence (<6 points) is preferred. Mobile device for the delivery app is necessary.

Day Rate: £170 - 228 per day (Routes usually 8-9 hours)

Days of Work: 5 days per week - Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

(Early Morning Start 6-7 am)

The Role

The Role
As a Delivery Driver, you will represent our delivery service while distributing fresh food products on behalf of our client. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, customer-focused, and enjoy being on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh food orders safely and efficiently to customers
• Ensure all deliveries arrive on time and in excellent condition
• Load and unload goods with care
• Provide a professional and friendly service at every delivery
• Follow planned routes and schedules
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle
• Complete delivery records and handle payments if required

Requirements

• Full, valid driving licence (UK or EU) with less than 6 points
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Apple or Andriod device for use of delivery app
• Previous delivery experience is beneficial but not essential
• Good knowledge of local routes and navigation is beneficial but not essential
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry goods

Vehicle Options

• Hire vehicles can be provided for drivers who require one (must be aged 25 and above)
• Owner drivers preferred with own LWB vehicles. Must have correct insurance cover and meet size requirements.
