Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a distribution client for a reliable Van Collection Driver to join their team in Newbury. The role offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule with a start time of 08:30 and a typical finish around 17:00, with overtime opportunities on weekends.

You'll carry out collections along an allocated route, drive a company van safely, and uphold professional customer service, health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence is required (min 1 year experience preferred).
• Candidates must complete a driving and health and safety assessment before starting (unpaid).
• No more than 6 points on licence; no major endorsements allowed for insurance purposes.

VAN COLLECTION DRIVER- NEWBURY

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our distribution client for a reliable and hardworking Van Collection Driver to join their team in Newbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, is comfortable with customer-facing work and is looking for a consistent Monday-to-Friday role.

Location: Newbury

Pay Rate: £12.71-£13.00 per hour

Working Hours: 08:30-17:00 (finish times may vary depending on the route)

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Overtime: Weekend overtime opportunities available

The Role:

Training & Requirements:

• Successful candidates will shadow an experienced driver for approximately 2-3 days before taking responsibility for their own route.
• Vehicles are preloaded, helping you get on the road and start your route efficiently.
• A reliable, punctual and professional attitude is essential.
• No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements allowed for insurance purposes.
