Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking experienced Van Delivery Drivers for Leicester and the wider Leicestershire area. Shifts run Monday to Friday starting at 05:00, with occasional Saturday work and around 40 hours per week.

You will deliver food and drink wholesale products to schools, care homes and restaurants, with a strong emphasis on timekeeping and customer service. This temporary role offers immediate starts and the potential to secure a permanent contract, with an hourly pay of £13 and holiday

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Be able to provide references for van driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• No DD, DR or TT conviction codes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drink wholesale products to customers including schools, care homes and restaurants.
• Assist with loading and unloading, and perform vehicle checks.
• Work closely with the team to ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.

Are you an experienced Van driver looking for regular delivery work in Leicester and the wider Leicestershire area? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy driving team with ongoing work, immediate starts and the potential to secure a permanent contract.

You will be delivering food and drink wholesale products to customers including schools, care homes and restaurants, so a professional approach, good timekeeping and strong customer service skills are essential. You will also support with loading and unloading, complete vehicle checks and work closely with the team to make sure deliveries are completed safely and on time.

Hourly Rate: Pay rate for this driving role is £13 per hour. Holiday is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata for PAYE.

Working Hours: Shifts are available Monday to Friday from 05:00, with occasional Saturday work (usually 1 in every 3) when required. You can expect to work around 40 hours per week.
