Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a 7.5T Delivery Driver for Leicester and the wider Leicestershire area. You will deliver food and drinks to customers such as schools, care homes and restaurants, with immediate starts and regular, ongoing hours.

The role involves loading and unloading, completing vehicle checks, and working with the team to ensure deliveries are made safely and on time. There is potential to progress towards a permanent contract for reliable performers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Valid CPC card.
• Previous 7.5T driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• No DD, DR or TT conviction codes.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced 7.5T driver looking for steady delivery work across Leicester and the wider Leicestershire area? This is a great opportunity to join a busy driving team, with immediate starts, ongoing work and the chance to work towards a permanent contract.

In this role, you will deliver food and drink products to customers such as schools, care homes and restaurants. A professional attitude, excellent timekeeping and strong customer service skills are important. You will also assist with loading and unloading, complete vehicle checks and work with the team to ensure deliveries are made safely and on time.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: Pay rate of £13.75 per hour. Holiday is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata for PAYE.

Working Hours: Shifts are available Monday to Friday from 05:00, with occasional Saturday work as required. You will usually work around 40 hours per week.
