Job summary

Rubix Group’s valve technology division seeks a Technical Manager to lead high-value projects, delivering innovative, compliant valve solutions for standard ranges, configured assemblies and bespoke requirements.

You will combine leadership with hands-on design and problem solving, using CAD (Solidworks & Revit), FEA and in-house tests to drive quality and performance across European markets.

Qualifications

• Excellent technical knowledge of valves and pressurised equipment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a consultative approach to customers.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Capture of intellectual property through CAD design (Solidworks & Revit), testing and ERP system load.
• Follow structured design, development, quotation and change control processes with QMS.
• Support sales through technical proposals that explain value-added solutions.
• Management of departmental processes with throughput and backlog KPIs.
• Use of finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation tools to minimize design iterations.
• Act as the technical authority in valve configuration and repair services.
• Operate within and maintain a culture of Quality and Quality Improvement.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and develop relationships with suppliers and customers.
