Job summary

Odin Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Valve Design Engineer to lead concept, design and validation of high‑performance valve products for energy, water and industrial sectors. You will own development from concept to manufacture, testing and delivery, collaborating with manufacturing, quality and project teams.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and at least 5 years of valve design experience, with CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and familiarity with ASME, API, ISO, BS

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in valve design or related field.
• Experience with ASME, API, ISO, BS and PED standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept, design and validation of new valve products.
• Drive improvement of existing valve designs for performance and manufacturability.
• Produce detailed engineering designs, calculations and docs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, procurement and projects.
• Translate customer specs into practical engineering solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery.
