Job summary

Schneider Electric UK is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Planner to balance inventory, forecast demand, and coordinate end‑to‑end activities across the production line. You will partner with manufacturing and engineering to ensure on‑time delivery and optimal service levels, while leveraging MRP to link flows and drive process improvements.

The role emphasizes collaboration, analytical thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions in a dynamic UK manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to milestones in product lifecycle and own healthy production start.
  • Manage customer expectations and production capabilities.
  • Regularly monitor line performance and report issues to management.
  • Coordinate line issues linked to production control (shortages, priorities, escalations, improvements).
  • Work with other business areas to achieve on-time delivery and high service levels.
  • Use MRP to link upstream and downstream flows.
  • Drive changes and improvements to current processes.

Job description

Join our Services Supply Chain Planning team and help us deliver exceptional value to customers through smarter, more efficient operations. This role offers the chance to work at the intersection of service delivery and supply chain strategy, where your insights drive real impact.

  • In charge of the right load balance and the synchronization of heterogeneous product families and different load centres (Eng dept, manufacturing …) with finite capacity.
  • Main activities
  • Create, manage, change and be responsible for the production plan for one of the lines in the factory
  • Adhere to milestones in product lifecycle and take ownership of the Healthy production start process
  • Effectively manage customer expectations and production capabilities
  • Regularly monitor line performance and communicate any issues in an effective manner to management
  • Coordinate line issues linked to production control (shortages, priorities, escalations, improvements)
  • Work with other areas of the business to achieve best on time delivery and highest service level for our customers
  • Constantly use MRP to link upstream and downstream flows
  • Drive the change and suggest improvements/changes to the current processes

For this UK based position, the expected pay range is GBP 35,200 - GBP 52,800 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United Kingdom. Our pay ranges are determined by the local market.
