Job summary

Sealed Air, a global packaging leader, is seeking a Production Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations in the United Kingdom. You will drive safety, productivity, and cost efficiency while coordinating across production, quality, maintenance, and logistics to meet targets and improve profitability.

You will champion continuous improvement, develop teams, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize resources and capacity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Value Chain Management, or related discipline.
• Additional business or commercial qualifications are an advantage.
• Professional membership of a recognized manufacturing or engineering institution is preferred.
• Proven experience leading manufacturing, production, or value chain operations.
• Experience managing teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience delivering large-scale operational or transformation projects is highly desirable.
• Track record of driving productivity, quality, safety, and cost improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing facility with strong leadership and accountability across production activities.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Manage manufacturing budgets and cost performance in collaboration with finance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and maintain governance standards.
• Optimize production performance by removing constraints and driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and business teams to optimize capacity and network performance.
• Develop and inspire high-performing teams aligned with plant and company objectives.
• Drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma/Lean methods.
