Job summary

A leading property authority in Portsmouth is seeking a Valuation Surveyor to lead the valuation function. The successful candidate will conduct various land and property valuations and provide mentoring to trainees. Applicants should have MRICS status or the ability to become registered, along with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience. This role offers flexible working hours and 26 days of holiday, with increases based on length of service.

Qualifications

• Must hold MRICS and Registered Valuer status or become registered.
• 3-5 years post-qualification experience in property valuation.
• Familiarity with land and property valuations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and undertake the valuation function for the authority.
• Conduct valuations of land and property for various purposes.
• Mentor graduate and trainee surveyors.
• Produce and countersign complex valuations.

Valuation Surveyor opportunity to join a leading authority with an impressive property portfolio. They own assets nationally across all sectors includingcommercial, retail, industrial and leisure assets totalling £1bn in value.

Role & responsibilities of Valuation Surveyor

• The primary purpose is to lead and undertake the authorities' valuation function.
• Undertaking valuations of land and property for a variety of purposes
• Provide mentoring and support to graduate and trainee surveyor
• Required to produce and countersign complex valuations

Skills & experience

• MRICS and Registered Valuer (or able to become registered)
• 3-5 years PQE
• Knowledge and experience of land and Property valuations

Salary & Benefits:

• 37 hours per week with option of flexible working
• 26 days holiday rising with length of service
