Job summary

Stratton Creber Commercial, Exeter, is seeking a Valuation Surveyor to join their Exeter team. The role covers valuation services for a broad client base across retail, office, industrial and residential sectors in Devon & Somerset, with potential for remote work.

Ideal candidates are RICS qualified (2+ PQE preferred), with a full UK driving license, strong report writing and numerical skills, and a willingness to engage in marketing and business development. Salary up to £60,000 plus bonus.

Valuation Surveyor

Up to £60,000 plus bonus depending on experience

(3-5 days per week)

LEVEL - Surveyor/Senior Surveyor/Associate Director - dependent on experience

REGION - Devon – Based at 20 Southernhay West, Exeter, EX1 1PR (remote working also available)

Stratton Creber Commercial is a well-established firm of chartered surveyors with offices in Exeter, Plymouth and Truro and is the leading commercial property consultancy for Devon in terms of number of agency deals. The company also provides a full range of commercial property services including; agency, property management and valuation, to a wide range of clients.

Stratton Creber Commercial is now seeking to expand its Exeter professional team by appointing a new Valuation Surveyor in order to assist with the ever increasing valuation workload.

ROLE AND REQUIREMENTS

• To become a part of a team delivering valuation services to an established client base including private clients, banks, pension funds and other professional service providers covering the retail, office, industrial and residential sectors
• Undertaking valuations for both secured and non-secured lending purposes across Devon & Somerset
• To have a key role in business promotion and marketing

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Any candidates with the following skills and experience are encouraged to apply:

• RICS Qualified, ideally with 2 years PQE but not essential

• Working knowledge of property legislation
• Local/regional market knowledge preferred but not essential
• Good social skills, particularly business networking
• Excellent oral and written language skills, including report writing abilities

Remuneration will be based on the candidate’s level of qualification and experience, and will include access to the company’s bonus scheme and contributory pension. We are happy to consider candidates wishing to work 3-5 days per week. Part time remote or home working is available.
