My client is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management, and wealth management services. Role Objective:

The Team is seeking Maternity Cover for a Valuation and Monitoring role to support the valuation, portfolio monitoring, and reporting cycles for the European Private Credit (EPC) funds. The role will sit within the Operations team and will interact closely with the broader European Private Credit team as well as internal teams. The role will also support other workflows associated with portfolio monitoring, portfolio performance/data analysis, and stakeholder reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a robust valuation process and ensure best practices to support valuation cycles for EPC Funds.
2. Maintain valuation models to prepare FV marks for all EPC portfolio assets.
3. Liaise with third-party valuation agents and auditors (internal and external).
4. Act as the point of contact for valuation-related questions and support portfolio/asset events.
5. Support restructuring and bespoke investment situations.
6. Lead discussions on valuation discrepancies and involve relevant parties.
7. Lead the valuation committee process, including preparing agendas, meeting materials, and presenting recommendations.
8. Oversee portfolio monitoring, including collating inputs, reviewing quarterly reports, and discussing performance.
9. Manage quarterly investor reporting, including preparing sections and liaising with the team.
10. Prepare performance analysis at various levels and FV movements at fund and platform levels.
11. Collaborate with EPC and company teams to develop and support the operating model, including system onboarding and dashboard maintenance.
12. Support the development of reporting functions using automated systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within an investment manager or valuation role.
• Experience in Private Credit or Leveraged Finance industries.
• Knowledge of fair value principles, IPEV Guidelines, and valuation methodologies.
• Understanding of valuation models and ability to translate investment economics into inputs.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
