Job summary

Liberata in the United Kingdom is seeking a Valuation Officer to work with internal and external agencies to identify new build properties or amendments and update the Council Tax list accordingly.

You will handle schedules, ensure the Council Tax database is accurate, and respond to enquiries from internal and external clients. This role requires GCSEs including English and Maths and experience in valuation or revenues, with familiarity of NEC/MRI/CIVICA or equivalents.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent with at least five A-C grades including English and Maths.
• Experience in valuation or revenues field.
• Experience with revenues systems such as NEC, MRI, CIVICA or equivalents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and similar software.

Responsibilities

• Process schedules in line with service levels.
• Update and maintain the Council Tax database.
• Engage with internal and external clients and respond to enquiries.

Job description

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Process schedules in line with agreed service levels
• Ensure the Council Tax database is updated and accurate
• Engage with internal and external clients and respond to enquiries as necessary

Essential Skills and Attributes:

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a minimum 5 grades A-C including English and Maths
• Valuation Experience or Experience in a revenues field
• Experience of Revenues systems, NEC/MRI/CIVICA and/or Equivalents
• Experience of using Microsoft or equivalent packages
