Job summary

Beach Baker, partnering with a leading property consultant, seeks an experienced Associate Director to join its Valuation team in Sussex and Surrey. MRICS Registered Valuer to lead valuation and advisory work across commercial and residential assets with client exposure.

The role offers hybrid working, exposure to loan security, financial reporting and taxation valuations, and opportunities to contribute to business development within a respected practice.

Qualifications

• Proven experience undertaking commercial and/or residential valuations from instruction to report delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded with an interest in business development.
• Experience using valuation software and property databases.
• Strong report-writing, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, timely and high-quality valuation advice across commercial and residential assets.
• Undertake property inspections and prepare detailed valuation reports.
• Provide valuation advice for loan security, financial reporting and taxation purposes.
• Maintain compliance with RICS Valuation Standards and industry best practice.
• Review and proofread reports, ensuring consistently high professional standards.
• Support, mentor and develop junior colleagues where appropriate.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to maximise client service and instruction opportunities.
• Remain up to date with legislation, market trends and developments affecting the valuation profession.
