Beach Baker is recruiting a Valuation Surveyor (Associate Director) to join its South Coast Valuation team. You will undertake broad valuation work across commercial, residential and industrial property while managing clients and developing new instructions.

Qualifications

• MRICS Chartered Surveyor with strong grounding in property valuation and knowledge of current RICS valuation standards.
• Strong commercial property valuation experience.
• Excellent report-writing and analytical skills.
• Confidence managing client and stakeholder relationships.
• Commercial and proactive approach to business development.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking valuations across a varied property portfolio.
• Providing valuation advice for sale, lease, investment and insurance purposes.
• Preparing detailed valuation reports and supporting documentation.
• Ensuring reports comply with current RICS requirements and legislation.
• Reviewing and quality checking reports as required.
• Developing relationships with existing clients and securing new instructions.
• Working with colleagues across the wider business.
• Contributing to the development of junior team members and growth of the valuation team.
