Job summary

Beach Baker is partnering with a highly regarded property consultancy to appoint an Associate Director to its Valuation team. You will deliver valuations across commercial and residential assets, lead client relationships, and contribute to business development.

MRICS qualified with RICS Registered Valuer status and a proven track record in valuation from instruction to report is essential. The role offers hybrid working, exposure to diverse instructions and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification required and RICS Registered Valuer status.
• Experience delivering commercial and/or residential valuations from instruction to report.
• Strong understanding of Red Book standards and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded with an interest in business development.
• Experience using valuation software and property databases.
• Strong report-writing, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, timely and high-quality valuation advice across commercial and residential assets.
• Undertake property inspections and prepare detailed valuation reports.
• Provide valuation advice for loan security, financial reporting and taxation purposes.
• Maintain compliance with RICS Valuation Standards and industry best practice.
• Review and proofread reports, ensuring consistently high professional standards.
• Support, mentor and develop junior colleagues where appropriate.

Beach Baker is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded property consultancy seeking an experienced Associate Director to join its growing Valuation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an MRICS Registered Valuer looking to progress their career within a respected consultancy that offers a varied workload, strong client exposure and genuine opportunities for professional development. The successful individual will play a key role within an established team, delivering valuation and advisory services across both commercial and residential property sectors.

The position offers exposure to a broad range of instructions, including loan security, financial reporting and taxation valuations, whilst also providing opportunities to contribute to business development and the growth of the wider team.
