Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property in Stafford is seeking a Validation Engineer to independently deliver end-to-end verification and validation projects for industrial diesel engines. The role focuses on product validation for new development projects around power density and emissions, offering a chance to own validation and shape improved methodologies using accelerated testing.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years in validation, verification, testing, or development engineering.
Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial machine development is highly transferable.

Responsibilities

Evaluate diesel engine performance and verify components.
Define and manage component validation plans.
Coordinate day-to-day engineering activity, test execution and data analysis.
Conduct failure analysis and defect resolution using standard methodologies.
Generate data-driven engineering reports and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, test, manufacturing, suppliers).
