Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Validation Engineer in Stafford for a 12-month contract to independently deliver end-to-end verification and validation projects for industrial diesel engines. Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product validation, verification, testing, or development engineering.
• Industry experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial machine development is highly transferable.
• Practical engine robustness evaluation experience and knowledge of internal combustion development.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting test data and applying root cause analysis methods (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, 6σ).
• Familiarity with FMEA and DVP&R.

Validation Engineer

Location: Stafford

Duration: 12-month initial contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

We are seeking a Validation Engineer to independently deliver end-to-end verification and validation projects for industrial diesel engines. The position focuses on product validation for new development projects surrounding power density and emissions. This is an opportunity to take ownership of product validation and help shape improved validation methodologies using accelerated testing.

Working Conditions

Location Model: Fully onsite in Stafford (5 days a week).

Hours: 37 hours per week.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30; Friday 08:00 - 13:00.

Equipment: All required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.
