Job summary

Chorley Group in Chorley is seeking a dedicated Valeter to join our dealership team. You’ll be responsible for cleaning and presenting vehicles to the highest standard, including applying specialist products where required. This is a full-time, permanent role with duties across the dealership and yard.

You’ll join a friendly, team-focused business that values reliability and attention to detail. Training and PPE are provided, and a clean driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have held a full clean driving license for more than 12 months.
• Experience in a similar role would be helpful but not essential.
• Workwear and PPE provided, and training as required.

Responsibilities

• Wash and present cars to the highest standard on site.
• Collect vehicles from customers and bring them to the workshop for appointments.
• Assist with other duties around the dealership and keep the area smart.

A new team member is needed to join the team at our Chorley dealership, in a Valeter position.

The Job Itself

This is an important role in the business, either working with the Sales or Aftersales team; Sales valeters are responsible for ensuring all the cars on site are ready for delivery, cleaned and presented to the best and highest standard, and specialist products are applied perfectly.

As an Aftersales Valeter you’ll be collecting vehicles from customers’ houses or workplaces and bringing in them in for their appointments with the workshop, ensuring they are then washed and cleaned to a high standard before returning them to the owners.

You’ll be a team player, helping with other duties in an around the dealership, washing cars, driving or keeping the place looking smart.

What We Are Looking For

• You must have held a full clean driving license for more than 12 months, have excellent attention to detail and be able to manage your time well.
• Experience in a similar role would be helpful but not essential.
• You’ll be provided with workwear and PPE, and training as required.
