Job summary

The Vella Group is seeking an experienced valeter to clean the interior and exterior of vehicles before and after repairs, at our Trafford Park site in Manchester.

This role covers a 42.5 hour week with a competitive £29,724.50 salary and benefits, including pension, private healthcare, and discount schemes, all aimed at delivering the highest standard of vehicle presentation. You will be part of a friendly, customer-focused team with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Ideally previous valet/detailing experience.
• Good time-keeping and time-management.
• Experience with customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry out valeting operations to the agreed method and highest standard.
• Clean vehicles within the given time frame.
• Good housekeeping.
• Keeping solvents and cleaning fluids organised.
• Keeping the Valet area clean and free from sources of ignition.
• If working inside with solvents, ensuring the area is well ventilated.
• Wearing the correct protective clothing such as eye protection and gloves.
• External checks of equipment such as the water pressure and to report any defects.
• You may be required on occasion to hand over courtesy cars to customers and fully explain the controls to the customer.
• General cleaning duties.

We are looking for an experienced valeter to clean the interior and exterior of vehicles before and after repairs.

• Carry out valeting operations to the agreed method and highest standard.
