Job summary

Apex Recruitment is seeking a Valeter for our prestigious automotive client in Ledbury. This full-time, on-site role offers a fixed day shift from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a pay rate of £13.44 per hour.

You will help ensure every vehicle meets the highest presentation standards, with full training provided on site processes and procedures. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning of interiors and exteriors, engines, and detailed areas, while working safely and to site guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous valeting experience is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Physically fit and able to perform manual duties.
• A keen eye for detail and pride in quality work.

Responsibilities

Are you passionate about cars and take pride in delivering a first-class finish? We are currently seeking a Valeter to provide support at our prestigious automotive client based in Ledbury.

This is a full-time, on-site position offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work alongside a supportive team in a well-established automotive environment.

Working Hours for this site:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Every other Saturday required, paid at an enhanced hourly rate.

The Role:

As a Valeter, you will be responsible for ensuring every vehicle is presented to the highest possible standard. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Thorough cleaning of vehicle interiors and exteriors
• Cleaning engine bays and components under the bonnet
• Cleaning lower door shuts, inner front wings, and other detailed areas
• Maintaining exceptional presentation standards across all vehicles
• Working safely and always following site procedures

We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working with prestige vehicles.

The Ideal Valeter:

• Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Previous valeting experience is essential.
• Ideally aged 28 or over for insurance purposes
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual duties including standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work varied hours as required.
