Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / VAG Specialist for our independent garage and service centre. You will service vehicles, perform diagnostics with ODIS, and maintain high safety and quality standards in a family-run environment.

The role focuses on German engineering across VW Group brands and other makes, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and no weekend shifts. Tools and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Strong knowledge of VAG platforms (Audi, VW, SEAT, Škoda).
• F-Gas certification preferred or interest in obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, brake overhauls, clutch replacements and general mechanical maintenance.
• Utilize official ODIS and modern diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve faults.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards to deliver first-time fix results and workshop efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with workshop colleagues to ensure smooth job flow and customer trust.
