Hawk Hiring in Guildford is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / VAG Specialist to join our independent workshop. A basic salary of £40,000–£50,000 is offered, with Monday–Friday hours (07:30–17:30) and optional overtime.

Benefit from a clean, well-equipped workshop with genuine VAG tooling, paid holidays, pension, on-site parking, and premium workwear. You will service, diagnose, and repair VW, Audi, Seat, and Skoda vehicles, using factory-level diagnostics and undertaking performance tuning

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds or equivalent time-served experience.
• Strong hands-on familiarity with VAG group platforms (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda).
• F-Gas certification preferred or interest in obtaining it.

Responsabilités

• Perform specialized routine servicing, timing chains, cambelts, and maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
• Use factory-level online diagnostic systems to troubleshoot and repair faults.
• Execute major mechanical repairs including braking, suspension, and drivetrain work.
• Assist performance tuning and remapping as part of authorized team.
