Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a committed Health Care Support Worker to deliver the school age vaccination programme alongsideCovid vaccination delivery to housebound patients and care homes. You will also support the admin lead with delegated tasks in a dynamic, community-focused role.

The role requires a DBS check (cost covered by the Trust) and a valid right to work in the UK with no sponsorship needed.

Qualifications

• DBS check required; Trust will cover the cost.

Responsibilities

• Administer selected vaccines in schools, at community clinics, in care homes and in patient homes.
• Collect vaccines and equipment from vaccine bases.
• Health promotion/vaccine education.
• Community engagement.
• Delegated administration tasks such as running reports, liaising with schools/service users, data collection.
