Job summary

Hightown Housing Association Ltd in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Clean and Clear Operative to join our Asset Management team, focusing on clearing vacant properties, cleaning to lettable standard and helping us turnaround homes quickly.

This full-time role involves manual duties, collaboration with Multi-Trade Operatives, basic repairs, and maintaining vehicles and equipment; driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Experience using cleaning and gardening equipment.
• Able to carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Good awareness of health and safety practices.
• Driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Clearing and cleaning empty properties to a high standard
• Safely disposing of waste and hazardous materials where required
• Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Supporting grounds maintenance and caretaking activities during quieter periods
• Maintaining stock, tools and equipment within your vehicle
• Reporting repairs, hazards and follow-up actions
• Working safely and in line with health and safety procedures
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver an excellent service for residents and customers
