DMPonline is a service that allows researchers to create and maintain data management plans for their research, meeting expectations from funders, institutions, and disciplinary norms. It is free for researchers, and the system is supported by selling services to institutions, funders, and national consortia.
The platform currently serves 61 customers and over 60,000 users, with a sustained growth of 20% per year. DMPonline uses an open-source codebase, with major contributions from the DCC and the DMPTool team at UC3. As a developer, you will join a team responsible for software development, including maintenance, bug fixes, feature development for specific projects, and strategic planning. You will work within a team focused on DMPonline, which includes developers, infrastructure experts, business development, user liaison, and service management roles. The team also collaborates with other DCC activities such as research, coordination projects, events, consultancy, and training.
