West Dunbartonshire Council is offering a part-time, term-time role for a Support Worker in Day Care of Children’s Services. The post is fixed term to 28/03/2027 and hours are Monday–Friday 8:45am–2:45pm (with a 30-minute unpaid break) or as agreed with the Head Teacher.
Applicants must be registered with the SSSC as a Day Care of Children’s Services Support Worker within 3 months of appointment and must obtain PVG clearance. This is a regulated post with PVG membership required.
This post is Fixed Term to 28/03/27.
As this post is part time, term time, the salary will be pro-rata to the hours worked.
The work pattern for this post will be Monday - Friday 8.45am - 2.45pm with a 30 minute unpaid break or hours agreed with the Head Teacher to meet the needs of the centre.

Applicants are required to be registered with, and maintain registration with, the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Support Worker in Day Care of Children’s Services within 3 months of appointment.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
