Job summary

West Dunbartonshire Council invites applications for a part-time Domestic Assistant at Crosslet Care Home, Dumbarton. You will carry out a range of cleaning activities, follow scheduled duties and maintain records of weekly work and deep cleans, using steam cleaners and floor machines to keep the premises clean and hygienic.

The role requires PVG scheme membership or update prior to offer, with wages pro-rata’d to 24 hours per week at an hourly rate of £13.52.

Our friendly team are looking for a part time domestic assistant to carry out a range of cleaning activities, you will follow specific cleaning schedules and maintain records such as weekly work schedules and deep cleans. Duties include the use of powered cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners and floor cleaners to ensure the premises are kept in a clean and hygienic condition for our residents and visitors.

You will be required to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the establishment and follow infection control guidelines.

Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
