Job summary

CrossReach is seeking a part-time Domestic Assistant to join our Glasgow facility. The role involves keeping the building clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, reporting to the Unit Manager and assisting with staff duty allocations.

You will collaborate with colleagues, rotate duties as needed, and support residents by providing cleaning equipment in line with care plans. Supervisory duties for other house staff and participation in training are expected.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Office and internet use.
• Part-time role with pro rata salary based on 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Keep the building clean, tidy and hygienic.
• Report to the senior on duty for ordering materials and distributing duties.
• Co-operate with colleagues during staff shortages or illness.
• Duties may be rotated or varied by the Unit Manager.
• Provide residents with cleaning equipment to support self-determination in care plans.
• Supervise and train others in cleaning duties.
• Participate in staff meetings and training activities.
