Job summary

REED Technology is seeking an experienced UX Designer for a Midlands-based hybrid role on a day-rate contract. You will own the user experience for a new web-based platform, shaping user journeys and leading discovery with stakeholders to deliver value to end users.

You will create wireframes, interactive prototypes in Figma, run usability tests and collaborate with product teams and developers to ensure designs remain user-centric throughout an agile delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience leading UX design for web-based platforms.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into user-centric designs.
• Proven track record in stakeholder collaboration and workshops.
• Experience creating user journeys, personas and process maps.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead User Experience activities across the web-based application.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges and user needs.
• Conduct discovery sessions, workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Create user journeys, personas, process flows and journey maps.
• Produce wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma.
• Validate designs through user feedback and usability testing.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers and Delivery teams.
• Champion user-centred design principles and best practices.
• Continuously improve designs based on feedback.
