Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren, a leading land, environmental and geospatial consultancy, is looking for a Utility Surveyor to deliver PAS128:2022 compliant surveys, map utilities, and produce reliable deliverables for our clients in the UK.

You will use EML, GPR and GNSS, maintain equipment, and work with teams on-site while following DM standards and health and safety procedures. A ProQual Diploma or equivalent and a full UK driving license are preferred.

Qualifications

• ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Utility Mapping & Surveying or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of PAS128:2022 standards for utility surveying.
• Proficiency with EML, GPR and GNSS technologies.
• Ability to process survey data and produce deliverables.
• Strong technical and client-facing communication.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake utility surveying and mapping to PAS128 standards.
• Identify, trace, locate underground utilities.
• Carry out manhole inspections and chamber surveys as required.
• Complete utility surveys in accordance with PAS128:2022 and DM standards.
• Capture and manage survey data to required standards.
• Maintain survey equipment and calibration.
• Liaise with colleagues, clients, contractors on site.
• Assist with development and training of junior utility surveyors.
• Follow RAMS and health and safety procedures.
