Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a Utility Surveyor to perform utility surveys and mapping in line with PAS128:2022 and DM standards. You will identify and map buried services using EML, GPR and GNSS, conduct manhole inspections, and produce deliverables for clients.

You will maintain survey equipment, work with colleagues and clients on site, and may train junior surveyors. A full UK driving licence is required, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Utility Mapping & Surveying or relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of PAS128:2022 utility surveying standards.
• Proficiency with EML, GPR and GNSS technologies.
• Ability to process survey data and produce deliverables.
• Strong technical, communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake utility surveying and mapping projects to PAS128 standards.
• Identify, trace, locate and capture underground utilities.
• Carry out manhole inspections and chamber surveys as required.
• Maintain equipment and ensure calibration and readiness.
• Liaise with colleagues, clients and contractors on site.
