Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren in Crewe seeks a Utility Surveyor to deliver surveying and mapping projects to PAS128:2022 standards, using EML, GPR and GNSS. You will identify, trace and record underground utilities and contribute to delivering accurate deliverables.

The role involves site work, equipment maintenance, data processing, and liaising with clients and contractors. A ProQual Level 3 Diploma or equivalent experience is required, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• ProQual Level 3 Diploma or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of PAS128:2022 surveying standards.
• Proficiency with EML, GPR and GNSS technologies.
• Ability to process survey data and deliverables.
• Strong technical, communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake utility surveying and mapping projects in accordance with PAS128:2022 and DM standards.
• Identify, trace, locate and capture underground utilities including electricity, gas, water, drainage, telecoms and other buried services.
• Carry out manhole inspections, chamber surveys and associated measurements.
• Complete utility surveys and deliverables to required standards.
• Capture and manage survey data and maintain equipment calibration.
• Liaise professionally with colleagues, clients, contractors and stakeholders on site.
• Assist with training of junior utility surveyors when needed.
• Follow safe systems of work and DM health and safety procedures.
