Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a Utility Surveyor to conduct underground utility surveys in line with PAS128:2022 and DM standards. You will use EML, GPR, GNSS and robotic total stations to identify and map services across sites.

The role requires solid surveying knowledge, good communication with clients, and a UK driving licence. You will contribute to data processing, reporting and training of junior staff as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Utility Mapping & Surveying, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of PAS128:2022 utility surveying standards.
• Proficiency with EML, GPR and GNSS technologies.
• Ability to process survey data and produce deliverables.
• Excellent technical, communication and client-facing skills.
• Team player with a can-do attitude and problem-solving mindset.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake utility surveys using EML, GPR, GNSS and robotic total stations.
• Identify, trace, locate and map underground utilities across multiple services.
• Carry out manhole inspections and chamber surveys as required.
• Capture, manage and process survey data to required standards.
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment.
• Liaise with colleagues, clients, contractors and stakeholders on site.
• Assist with development and training of junior utility surveyors.
