Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a Lead Utilities Surveyor to join our Geomatics team. You will lead complex utility surveys, set up surveys, and provide technical briefings while mentoring junior staff. The role balances office and site work in a managerial capacity.

Applicants should have PAS128:2022 expertise, EML/GPR proficiency and strong client-facing skills. A ProQual Level 5 Diploma or equivalent experience is essential, with a full UK driving licence and collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• ProQual Level 5 Diploma in Utility Mapping & Surveying or relevant experience.
• Detailed knowledge of PAS128:2022 utility surveying standards.
• Advanced proficiency in EML and GPR technologies.
• Experience in managing projects and survey teams.
• Excellent technical, communication and client facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of utility survey projects from planning through final delivery.
• Manage on-site survey teams and meeting survey objectives.
• Ensure surveys comply with PAS128:2022 and DM quality standards.
• Mentor and develop junior utility surveyors.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
