Job summary

Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd. is looking for a Utility Mapping Surveyor to lead field operations around Glasgow and surrounding areas. The role focuses on detecting, locating, and mapping subterranean networks to PAS 128 standards, with travel across the Scottish territory.

You will capture data with EML/GPR, convert findings to CAD deliverables in AutoCAD, and manage client liaison on survey scope and site constraints. A full UK driving licence and field-based flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Mandatory PAS 128 experience and 2–3 years in utility surveying.
• Experience deploying GPR and EML tracing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD data interpretation and survey data processing.

Responsibilities

• Execute utility detection surveys using PAS 128 methods.
• Capture surface markings with GNSS and Total Station for accurate locations.
• Convert site survey data into CAD deliverables, interpret underground networks.
• Prepare client survey summaries, permits to dig, and inspection records.
• Liaise with clients in the field on scope, constraints, and best practices.
