Job summary

Vector Recruitment Solutions is seeking a meticulous Utility Surveyor to deliver complex mapping projects across UK assets. This role focuses on PAS 128 detection, topographical mapping, and laser scanning in a regional field operations setting.

You will conduct end-to-end subterranean mapping, maintain survey control, and produce CAD deliverables. Requires 3+ years in utility detection, CSCS, and a full UK driving licence; UK travel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of verified field experience in utility detection (PAS 128) and topographical land surveying.
• CSCS card is essential and a full UK driving licence is required.
• Demonstrated mastery of EML, GPR, robotic total stations, GNSS networks, point-cloud registration software and CAD platforms.

Responsibilities

• Executing PAS 128-aligned utility detection, tracing, and mapping.
• Establishing and verifying survey control networks.
• Delivering topographical and laser scanning surveys with CAD deliverables.
• Leading site setups, RAMS, and permits to work safely around live traffic and excavations.
