Job summary

Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Utility Detection Surveyor to support high-tier engineering utility detection across sites in London and SE England. The role is field-based and requires covering NW & Central England with remote/field flexibility.

You will work on PAS 128 compliant surveys using EM locating and GPR, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and client communication. A full driving license and CSCS card are essential, and a strong team player ethos is important.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience undertaking Utility Surveys.
• Understanding PAS 128 and site procedures.
• Solid grasp of H&S procedures on site.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.
• Proficient with EM location and GPR equipment.

Responsibilities

• Survey Execution: perform utility detection surveys from site detection to written reports.
• Adhere to PAS 128 standards for data collection and reporting.
• Conduct dynamic risk assessments and communicate safety issues.
• Manage client relationships and present survey outputs.
• Handle site documentation and data processing with accuracy.
• Support QA in the office and collaborate with field teams.
• Make technical decisions within authority limits and maintain data integrity.
• Provide mentoring to junior staff and supervise field teams.
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services.
