Job summary

Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Utility Surveyor to cover regional infrastructure projects across the Scotland Central Belt and Northern England. You will manage PAS 128 utility detection, topographical surveys, and laser scanning, with responsibilities for control networks and CAD deliverables.

The role requires 3+ years of field experience, a CSCS card, and a full UK driving licence, plus willingness to travel UK sites.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of verified field experience in utility detection (PAS 128) and topographical land surveying.
CSCS card; Full clean UK Driving Licence.
Willingness to travel UK sites across Scotland Central Belt and Northern England.
Experience with EML, GPR, robotic total stations, GNSS networks, CAD platforms; adherence to safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

Execute PAS 128-aligned utility detection, tracing, and mapping using EM locators, signal generators, sondes, and GPR.
Establish and verify survey control networks using robotic total stations and GNSS receivers; perform precise leveling where required.
Deliver comprehensive topographical and laser scanning surveys with point-cloud registration and CAD deliverables for infrastructure projects.
Lead site setups, manage RAMS, permits to work, and ensure safety near live traffic, excavations, and operational sites.
