Job summary

Talent Finder is recruiting an experienced Utilities Planner to join our established planning team in Kidlington. You will coordinate daily utilities and civils works, managing 5–8 field teams and ensuring resources, information and materials are in place to meet deadlines.

The role is office-based during training with 1–2 days work from home once established, offering overtime opportunities and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience planning or scheduling works within utilities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple field teams and priorities.
• Strong communication with operational teams.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Calm under changing plans; practical problem-solving.
• Basic Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily utilities, civils and reinstatement works.
• Coordinate 5–8 field teams and allocate jobs by priority and resources.
• Manage high volumes of live jobs and deadlines.
• Respond to reactive works and urgent schedule changes.
• Communicate with field teams by phone and WhatsApp.
• Update job statuses and records in Salesforce; track progress.
