Utilities Planner Role

As a Utilities Planner, you will be the key contact before works for the operational team. You will have full accountability for the planning & Streetworks aspects of all works before they commence on site. You will ensure that all operational teams are able to undertake their work in line with the received push plans and requested dates, ensuring compliance with NRSWA and adherence to timescales to minimize financial impact to the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of workstreams, coordinating from receipt to job completion.
• Schedule work orders in accordance with SLAs, optimizing travel routes and increasing productivity.
• Identify noticing issues early and intervene to ensure correct handling of inspection data, minimizing challenges to Section 74 invoices and FPNs.
• Maintain accurate input and upload of information into works management systems, recording and escalating issues as needed.
• Meet client and operational requirements professionally and efficiently.
• Provide daily and weekly reports to achieve service levels and objectives.
• Contribute positively to the team by providing solutions and embracing change.
• Report safety issues in line with company procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in the utilities sector is preferred.
• Experience in planning or coordination roles.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail.
• Logical thinking skills.
