Job summary

Pertemps Banbury Commercial seeks a Utilities & Facilities Manager for a leading manufacturing operation in Banbury. This full-time, permanent role offers £50,000–£58,000 per annum, plus bonus and competitive benefits.

You will own site utilities and facilities services, ensuring reliability, compliance and cost performance. Key responsibilities include managing critical infrastructure, maintenance programmes, contractor relationships and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or related field.
• 5+ years managing utilities and facilities in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership of maintenance/engineering/facilities teams.
• Strong knowledge of utilities such as HVAC, water, electrical systems.
• Experience using preventative maintenance strategies and CMMS.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Track record of energy-saving/cost-reduction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage all site utilities including water, electricity, HVAC, compressed air and waste.
• Lead facilities operations: building maintenance, cleaning, security and site services.
• Oversee contractors ensuring high standards and value for money.
• Drive energy efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure health & safety, environmental, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develop preventative maintenance programmes for assets.
• Conduct audits and inspections of systems and services.
• Support infrastructure improvement, expansion and upgrades.
• Collaborate with operations/engineering to meet production needs.
• Monitor budgets, contracts and performance metrics.
