Job summary

Tyréns Hilson Moran in the UK is seeking a Utilities Infrastructure Consultant to join our Infrastructure and Environment team on a full-time basis. You will work across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, delivering multi-utility design, enabling works, and coordination with stakeholders.

This hybrid role involves liaising with developers, utility providers and Contractors, guiding proposals from planning through to delivery, and supporting de-risking of complex urban projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, design and procurement of new utilities and energy networks.
• Experience delivering complex utility enabling works in constrained urban environments.
• Familiarity with sketches and reports; proficient with Excel spreadsheets.
• Understanding of planning processes and development stages.

Responsibilities

• Meet developers and landowners to capture technical needs and craft proposals.
• Consult with utility providers to assess opportunities, risks and costs.
• Develop utility designs with internal team or third parties for tenders.
• Procure utility contractors and develop scopes for Employer's Requirements.
• Lead progress meetings and report to clients; manage cost implications.
