Job summary

Tyráns Hilson Moran in London seeks a full-time Utilities Infrastructure Consultant to join the Infrastructure and Environment team. The role focuses on multi-utility, water, drainage, and mobility infrastructure for major commercial and residential projects.

You will work with developers, utility providers and CAD technicians to coordinate designs, procure services and manage costs across constrained urban sites, driving project success.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, design and procurement of new utilities for development projects.
• Experience delivering complex utility enabling works in constrained urban environments.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam for sketches and reports.
• Understanding of planning processes and RIBA Stages.
• Commercial understanding of utilities infrastructure and costs.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet with developers and landowners to understand needs and develop proposals.
• Consult with utility undertakers and providers to assess risks and costs.
• Develop utility designs and coordinate with CAD technicians.
• Procure services of utility contractors through scope/specs.
• Manage delivery of utility enabling and new connections.
• Report progress to client and issue instructions to contractors.
• Lead utilities progress meetings.
• Review as-constructed data and close out costs.
• Track project costs and profitability using timesheets.
• Take delivery ownership under Project/Associate Director.
