Job summary

Tyréns Hilson Moran is seeking a Principal or Associate Utilities Consultant to join the Bristol-based Infrastructure and Environment Group. The role focuses on planning, designing and delivering multi-utility networks for high-profile commercial and residential developments, working alongside water, civil and MEP teams in a collaborative, inter-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, designing and procuring utilities and energy networks for development projects.
• Understanding of cost, programme risks and how they impact client value.
• Experience delivering utilities infrastructure for major developments.

Responsibilities

• Meet with developers and landowners to understand needs and develop proposals.
• Coordinate with design teams and utility undertakers to identify opportunities, risks and costs.
• Lead utility design work and coordinate with third parties to support tenders and drawings.
• Procure specialist utility contractors and create scopes using project documents.
• Manage delivery of utilities enabling works and monitor progress with clients.
