Job summary

Escape Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an established engineering organisation for a Utilities Project Manager based in the Bristol area. You will lead a Capital Projects Delivery team through surveys, estimation, planning, installation, commissioning and closeout, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and value for money.

The role requires NEC3 contract experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage budgets, stakeholders and risk while driving continuous improvement across project

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering/capital project delivery teams.
• Background in engineering, industrial installation or related field.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects.
• Strong planning, coordination and budgeting skills.
• NEC3 contract experience.
• Experience with P&L or departmental financial responsibility.
• Leadership and people management skills.
• Health and safety understanding in engineering/construction.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage a project delivery team.
• Own capital projects from inception to completion.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and commercial performance.
• Oversee planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensure NEC3 contractual requirements are met.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement across project delivery.
