Methods Business and Digital Technology Limited in the UK is seeking an experienced User Researcher to champion the user across public-sector services, conducting ethical, user-centred research on government-facing products with GDS standards in mind.

You will work in agile multidisciplinary teams, develop personas and journeys, recruit and analyse data, and present insights to product teams and stakeholders to shape user-friendly, accessible solutions.

Qualifications

Knowledge and passion for user-centered design practices.
Experience conducting user research using usability testing, interviews, surveys, and selecting appropriate methods.

Responsibilities

Champion the user on services and products.
Plan and conduct user research, develop recruitment briefs, conduct analysis and present research findings.
Tell research stories to different audiences.
Collaborate with the product team to turn findings into prototypes and features that meet user needs.
Present research findings, user insight and recommendations to product teams and stakeholders.
Promote user-centered design best practices within government.
Apply knowledge in the user-centered design process to product and service design.
Undertake qualitative and quantitative research projects, such as ethnography and usability studies.
