Voltility is seeking a Regulatory Analyst to translate regulatory data into actionable intelligence for generation, storage and large-load projects. You will collaborate with journalists and researchers to produce longer-form analyses and market notes that go beyond a feed, explaining what changes mean and who is affected.

The role combines interpreting regulatory changes with data-backed insights, shaping editorial coverage and guiding collection priorities for sharper analysis.

Competenze

• Background in regulatory or policy analysis, consulting, law, a utility or market operator, with exposure to US power market regulation preferred.
• Deep working knowledge of how federal, state and local processes shape generation, storage and large-load economics, and of how public opinion feeds into them.
• A track record of published, longer-form written analysis and the ability to take a position and defend it.
• Comfortable working with project and market data to quantify impact; clear, plain-English writer.

• Write longer-form intelligence pieces from briefings to deep dives to Voltility's editorial standard.
• Lead opinions on contested questions with clear rationale and evidence.

• Utilize Generation and Load project data to quantify impact where possible.
• Support the commercial team with subject-matter input for demos and client questions.
